Md Yunus Ali was a chairman in Kamalbari Union. He set up the Union Parishad building in Hajiganj Bazar to conduct the activities (currently the old dangerous building has been demolished and trees have been planted there). But later, Md. Samchul Islam Suruj being the chairman, he established a new union complex building in the middle of the Kamalbari union to facilitate the work of the people. Rumor has it that Samchul Islam Suruj promised to set up Kamalbari Union complex building in the middle of Kamalbari union. Martyr Samchul Islam Surooj has implemented it in his continuation. The person who installed the new building of Kamalbari Union Parishad was brutally killed by some local people in 2003.
