Kamalabari union chairman was Shahid Shamsul Islam Suruj, he established union parishad building in the middle of the union. There is a small wall and gate in front of the building which is very pleasant. It is known in different sources that there was a lot of orange cultivation in Kamalabari union and in this context, this union is known as Kamalabari.
